3. DEGREE OF COMPARISON : 
        •Degree of comparison is an adjective or adverb that describes the relational value of  one thing   with something in another clause of a sentence.
         •An adjective may simply describe a quality ,(the positive); it may compare the quality with that   of another of its kind (comparative degree); and it may compare the quality with many or all   another's ( superlative degree)
  
*POSITIVE COMPARISON :
      DEFINITION: comparing the two object have the same quality and quantity
       •CHARACTERISITICS :
                                  -  AS ADJECTIVE AS:
                                     object one +as+adjectiv+as+object two
                                  - THE SAME NOUN AS :
                                     object one+the same+noun+as+object two
        •EXAMPLES : I’m working as fast as I can
     * COMPARATIVE :
        DEFINITION: comparing the two object have different quality and quantity.
          •CHARACTERISITICS
                           -if one sylleble word
                              object1+ adjective+er +then+object2
                           -if two sylleble or more sylleble word
                              obejet1+more+adjective+the+object2
           •EXAMPLES :
                        - rhinoceros is a longer word   than orang utan
                        - orang utan is a shorter word than rhinoceros
     *SUPERLATIVE : 
                 •Definition : superlative adjective are used when describing three items or more.           Superlative adjective are never used with two items. They are used to express the highest degree of the items you are expressing in comparison to the other items .
                 •Characteristic :
      vif one syllable used :
                               objects +adjective+est + adverb of place
      vIf two or more syllable used
                                object 1+ most+adjective + adverb of place
        •example for superlative :
    vHippopotamus is the longest word
    vOrang utan is the shortest word
                       
                     Degrees Of Comparison Rules
1.One Syllable word
    Add -er for comparative & -est for superlative
  ex:   tall    taller  tallest
    fast  faster  fastest
Adjectives ending in –e, just add –r and –st.
  ex:   large   larger   largest
            late   later   latest
If the adjectives end in a vowel and a consonant, double the consonant before adding –er and –est.
  ex:   -fat      fatter       fattest
          -thin   thinner     thinnest
2.Two syllable word
       •If the adjectives end in –y, add –er for the comparative degree and add –est for    the superlative.
              ex:  busy   busier   busiest
                     ugly   uglier   ugliest
        It is also preferred to add –er and –est for the following adjectives.
                    - clever     cleverer      cleverest
                    - narrow   narrower   narrowest
                    - quiet       quieter       quietest
                    - simple     simpler       simplest
For most adjectives and adverbs, precede more for the comparative degree and most for the superlative.
  ex:   famous   more famous   most famous
  tragic   more tragic   most tragic3.For the adverbs end in –ly either of two or more syllable, precede more for the comparative degree and most for the superlative.
  ex:   slowly   more slowly   most slowly
  carefully   more carefully   most carefully
It is an exception for the adverb early. It uses suffix –er and est.

4. For more than two syllables words, just precede more for the comparative degree and most for the superlative.
  ex:   difficult   more difficult   most difficult

Degree of comparison is an adjective or adverb that describes the relational value of  one thing with something in another clause of a sentence.
Degree of comparison divide into three, they are:
1.Positive comparison :comparing the two object have the same quality and quantity
2.Comparative : comparing the two object have different quality and quantity
                    3.Superlative : superlative adjective are used when describing three items or more.
